Astronomy (science that studies the laws of the stars) is a natural science that studies celestial objects and phenomena. It uses mathematics, physics, and chemistry in order to explain their origin and evolution. Objects of interest include planets, moons, stars, nebulae, galaxies, and comets. Astronomy is one of the oldest natural sciences.

The Astronomy Lab will enable students to experience space, learn about the many mysteries of the cosmos and also watch celestial bodies. Students will become familiar with scholarly and research methods; learn to use laboratory equipment in astronomical observations; understand the scientific method and critically evaluate scientific information.
