Most people are unaware of the true meaning of the word ‘Azadi’, they just take this word for granted. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative by the government to celebrate 75 years of our independence and to increase awareness and interest in the nation’s journey and prospective growth. Like, the freedom fighters who struggled to attain Azadi till their last breath. As proud Indians, we should know that the freedom to move freely and live peacefully that we have today is a result of the sacrifices made by our brave warriors. The Mahotsav’s foremost aim is to spread the feeling of patriotism throughout the nation and to motivate the youth so that they can contribute to our nation’s progress and help to make India a country that would be looked forward to in the forthcoming years. So, we should celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 75 years of our Independence with a feeling of patriotism and happiness and give tribute to the brave sons of our motherland.
