The Ganga River is the holiest in India. One Sunday evening, I went to Atal Ghat with my parents for boating. The moment I entered, I heard the sound of chanting and shlokas. I rushed towards the ghat to see what is happening. I saw huge triangle-shaped fire lamps raised up and down in the air by Pujaris, they were doing Ganga Aarti. The whole ghat was lightened up by earthen lamps and was decorated with beautiful rangoli. For me, it was so mesmerizing because the first time I witnessed Ganga Aarti at Atal Ghat. It was the most beautiful moment of my life.
