“The mother of democracy. India is still moving forward by strengthening democracy . We are proud of our democratic traditions”. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi quoted this at the UN General Assembly. It says that India is proud of its traditions and decisions for the future of the country. India is rich in knowledge and science, and is leaving its mark from Mars to the moon and will continue to do so. The reasons which make India a successful democracy in the world include its fair, free, and periodic election conduction, accountable administration, freedom to form political parties, an independent judiciary, education and the existence of the Election Commission. Transparency of democracy is also a major factor in its successful democracy. Our diversity which includes dozens of languages, and hundreds of dialects but is still united and a number of religions but is still secular, is a symbol of a vibrant democracy.
