The Psychology Lab at our school, established in collaboration with IIT Kanpur and Cute Brains Pvt. Ltd., is designed as a dynamic space where students can deepen their understanding of human behaviour and the mind’s intricate processes. With a strong focus on the practical applicability of psychological concepts, the lab enables students to bridge theory with real-world scenarios. Through hands-on exploration, students cultivate keen observational skills that sharpen their ability to perceive, interpret, and respond to diverse behavioural patterns. These foundational experiences are not solely aimed at academic development but also at fostering empathy and insight into human nature.

One of the lab’s key objectives is to support the early detection and intervention of Specific Learning Disabilities (SLDs). By collaborating on early screening and intervention, students are exposed to the nuances of developmental psychology and the importance of inclusive education. Creative expression is actively encouraged, allowing students to channel their thoughts, emotions, and ideas into meaningful psychological exploration. This process of expression not only builds self-awareness but also enhances emotional intelligence, an essential component in navigating life’s complexities.

The lab also serves as a platform for students to refine their research skills, delving into areas such as cognitive, sensory, and perceptual processes, as well as motivation and emotion.
